Ordered semigroup actions (OSA) are immensely important. As it follows from the linked to article, >1/2 of the future science depends on OSA. It is a typical math discovery from the first half of 20th century, but unexpectedly was discovered only in 2019 (by me).
Now because of this >50% majority, your relation to science is your relation to OSA. Holding PhD does not make you a scientist, supporting OSA makes.
Why is it so important to support OSA? There are other discoveries of such importance. Because I mis-published this discovery (see also the above linked to article). I wrote a too long (500 pages) article. Now I can’t publish it, because it is too long for most journals (that constitutes buffer overflow error :-)), and I can’t publish it split into parts not only because splitting into parts is a hard work, but also because I “published” it in Russia and now publishing its part is not original research. The most important component is the missing component, ordered semigroup actions are missing in world science. The world was protected against such an event of blocking development of most science only by monetary incentive by paying to scientists for publishing as soon as possible (“publish or perish”). But I didn’t finish study in a university (because of discrimination of Protestants in Russia), and did not receive money for my work, so the incentive was broken and this led to security broken. Security scientists know: security by incentive is a bad practice. Neither security by advise is good, and it failed because I don’t have a scientific advisor, I did all scientific work myself, and this caused the world to fail.
Now we have a world war: publish OSA or the world perish because we have lost most of the future science: not publishing OSA leads to not researching and not publishing everything that directly or indirectly depends on it that is most of the future science.
PhDs are not scientists because they are enemies of the main part (>1/2) of science: They create high competition that makes OSA hardly findable in Google. Now facing this “world war” it appears that only me is a scientist (who is for science), the last survived mathematician.
I literally survived: As an open Baptist in Russia I suffered hunger (because my mother refused to feed a believer and because being openly Baptist makes finding a job extremely difficult). What is commonly called karma worked: The world didn’t feed me, as a result the world lost most of its mind (I remind, it is >1/2 of science). One reason why I hungered was that I am a mathematician: being one of the world best mathematician and similarly having a religion forbidding to lie, I was unable not to boast when being asked certain questions, so people hated me as a boaster. That’s the joke in the title: “The last survived mathematician”.
As a Bible believer, I label academy as the beast of Apocalypse who puts a stamp on the forehead (that is scientific degree evaluating your forehead). It is a beast, because unlike humans it cannot incorporate in its thinking OSA.
Now I call you to become a soldier in this “world war” that is do propaganda of OSA. Be creative: Invent ways to publish it. E.g., you can create a peer reviewed journal that re-publishes very long (I remind that it’s 500 pages) articles already published elsewhere. The entire system of peer review needs a reform. Ability for publication of OSA should be considered as a gauge of your system.
